The way children are addressed and spoken to has a profound effect on their self esteem, sense of identity, and overall well being. Instead of saying ‘foster children’ change your words to ‘children experiencing foster care’ or ‘children in the foster care system’. The foster care system does not define the child.

Working closely with an organization like Comfort Cases provides us with insights into the issues within a specific community while developing a new perspective and approach to how we can give back.
